F1: Hamilton takes the Hungarian GP and catches up with Schumacher on the record for wins in the same event.

The Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), six times world champion and he has become the new leader of the Formula One World Championship. After winning the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday, he reached the record of wins. And the same event (8) of the German Michael Schumacher eight times triumphant in the French Grand Prix, in Magny Cours.

Hamilton, who on Saturday had set his own historic ‘pole’ record at 90, achieved his 86th victory in the premier class by winning at the Hungaroring before of Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull). His Finnish Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas, who finished third at the circuit outside Budapest. Comparatively Spaniard Carlos Sainz (McLaren) finished tenth and Mexican Sergio Perez (Racing Point) seventh.

Canadian Lance Stroll, Checo’s partner in Racing Point, achieved fourth, especially of Thailand’s Alexander Albon of Red Bull. In a race where Germany‘s Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) was sixth. Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo (Renault) was eighth, and Denmark’s Kevin Magnussen (Haas) was ninth. He was simply moving of Sainz, who protected himself against the Ferrari attacks of Monaco’s Charles Leclerc. He finished tenth, scoring one point.

Hamilton, who also signed the fast lap, will come at the top, with 63 points. Five more than Bottas- at the next Grand Prix -his own. The British one, which will be held in two weekends, on August 2nd, at the English circuit of Silverstone.

“Believe it or not, it’s not that easy you have to start all the time. And at all times you have to cheque the condition. Moreover, I have to thank everybody. To the team, to those here and those in the factory. It’s incredible how they’ve developed this car in such a challenging year.” Hamilton said after matching German Michael Schumacher’s record of eight wins in the same F1 race at Magny Cours.

“This is one of my favourite Grand Prixs, and I think I had a great race today. Although without the strategy and the work of everyone in the team we would not have achieved anything,” said Hamilton, who on Saturday had set his own historic ‘poles’ record at 90.
