Robin Uthappa    Wicketkeeper    Kolkata Knight Riders
Uthappa raced to 59 of 33 with five fours and four maximums in Friday's victory over the Delhi Daredevils.

Fantasy Analysis

After starting the tournament slowly with just four runs across the first two matches, he's picked up the pace considerably, blasting four half-centuries in his past six matches. His nose for the boundary gave him a strike rate of 178.78, the top rate of anyone who faced more than five balls while his 108-run partnership with Gautam Gambhir all but put the match away. He'll look to maintain his stellar form when they face Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
Gautam Gambhir    Batsman    Kolkata Knight Riders
Gambhir blasted 71 off 52 not out with 11 fours and was named Man of the Match in Friday's victory over the Delhi Daredevils.

Fantasy Analysis

Gambhir has been as good as it comes this season, with Friday marking his third time unbeaten in the 70s and his fourth half-century of the tournament in just nine matches. With more than half of the opening round done, Gambhir is in the pole position for the orange cap with 376 runs, 43 runs ahead of David Warner. He'll look to continue his strong form in Sunday's trip to Hyderabad.
Nathan Coulter-Nile    (River)    Bowler    Kolkata Knight Riders
Coulter-Nile snatched three for 34 off four overs in Friday's victory over the Delhi Daredevils.

Fantasy Analysis

Since returning to fitness, Coulter-Nile has been an absolute wicket-taking machine. In his four matches back, he's taken three wickets three times and has taken multiple wickets in all four matches. His 10.72 average is the best average in the tournament of anyone who's bowled multiple overs. While his 8.50 economy was nothing to write home about, nor were the seven boundaries he allowed, his 11 dot balls led all bowlers for the match. He'll look to maintain his tremendous form in Sunday's trip to Hyderabad.
Shreyas Iyer    Batsman    Delhi Daredevils
Iyer tallied 47 off 34 with four fours and a maximum in Friday's defeat to the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Fantasy Analysis

After a strong opening stand by Karun Nair and Sanju Samson for 48, Iyer partnered with Samson for 75 to put them in excellent shape at two for 123 through 14 overs. However, things fell apart after Samson fell, leaving Iyer tantalizingly short of his second half-century in five IPL matches. The 22-year-old has struggled to get consistent run in the starting XI, but more performances like Friday's will lead itself to a steady place in the order. He'll look to continue his good form in Sunday's trip to Mohali to face KXIP.
Sanju Samson    Batsman    Delhi Daredevils
Samson raced to 60 off 38 with four fours and three maximums in Friday's defeat to the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Fantasy Analysis

Playing as a specialist batsman at the top of the Daredevils' order has paid big dividends for the Dardevils. In just seven matches, he has four scores at or above 39 including a century and his first half-century of the tournament on Friday. After scoring just 291 runs in 14 matches last season, he's already at 284 runs through seven matches this season. He'll look to maintain his strong form in Sunday's trip to Mohali to take on Kings XI Punjab.
Samuel Badree    Batsman    Royal Challengers Bangalore
Badree bowled two for 29 and hit three from three in a loss to the Gujarat Lions on Thursday.

Fantasy Analysis

Badree was one of the stronger performers in a dispiriting loss, claiming two crucial wickets early in the second innings. Opener Ishan Kishan went down for 16 in the third over, thanks to a plumb delivery resulting in an LBW. Kishan's opening partner Brendon McCullum fell on the first ball of Badree's next over, out for just three runs. Badree's economy rate of 9.33 didn't come close to his 5.71 career average, however.
