Phil Ivey rarely shows up for poker transmissions anymore. So it’s all the more pleasing when he shows himself again, even if a 1-Outer brings about a sudden end.
A big name that everyone missed at the record tournament of the Triton Million was Phil Ivey. Because of his legal dispute with the Borgata and the resulting claims, every major event he plays is closely watched. The US casino has already demanded the confiscation of the money Ivey won this summer at the World Series of Poker.
The €100,000 Super High Roller of the Triton Series at King’s Casino Rozvadov, which takes place on the outskirts of MILLIONS Europe, seems to have been too tempting for Ivey to miss.
If you don’t have a PokerGo subscription, you can take a look at what the superstar of the poker scene has been up to on our Atlantic side.
After he could reach the second tournament day in the event thanks to such plays beside well-known names like Igor Kurganov, Charlie Carrel, Sam Trickett and Kristen Bicknell, Ivey’s fun came to an early end with a completely crazy hand with a final 1-out.
