For fans of Call of Duty, there is now another date in October that they have to paint themselves red. Call of Duty: Mobile for Android and iOS will be released on 1st October. According to Activision, the free-to-play shooter will merge the worlds of Black Ops and Modern Warfare.
The definitive call-of-duty experience for your smartphone
The mobile phone offshoot for the popular shooter series is being developed in cooperation with the Chinese giant Tencent. It should not only contain numerous classic game modes like Frontline, Team Deathmatch or Gun Game. The classics among the cards will also celebrate their return on the mobile version. Nuketown, Hijacked and Crash have already been announced, and more will surely follow.
The players of Call of Duty: Mobile can not only choose between a variety of weapons but also soldier types, operators and perks are released for customization. In the course of the game, iconic characters like John “Soap” MacTavish or Simon “Ghost” Riley will be unlockable.
Battle Royale announced
As a very special treat, a Battle-Royale-Mode was introduced. Either alone, in a team of two or with four people, you will now also be able to fight for survival in the Call-of-Duty universe. But not only the familiar weapons are waiting for the players. Vehicles of all kinds at sea, in the air and on land also convey the familiar environment of Call of Duty in the new mode. Players can still choose between the ego-perspective or the view over the shoulder.
If you want to start directly on 1st October, you should pre-register on the official website.
Until the release of Modern Warfare on 25th October not only further beta phases are waiting for us, but also the mobile offshoot will keep us busy until then.
