Yesterday the Poker Masters 2019 started, and a $10,000+$500 NLH event was offered as a prelude. By the end of day 1, 97 entries had been paid, so there is $970,000 in the prize pool, and the winner can look forward to $223,100.
The US-American Isaac Baron, better known under his online player name “WestMenloAA”, ended the day as the chip leader with 3,055,000 chips, followed by Jeremy Ausmus with 1,955,000 chips and Ralph Wong with 1,770,000. The three pros are cash game experts, but also play high roller tournaments from time to time. With the British Poker Open Champion Sam Soverel, Scott Blumstein, Dan Shak and Chance Kornuth we can look forward to a final first-class table.
