Ubisoft Announces New Rainbow Six Tournaments

Ubisoft has announced a new tournament series for “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege” in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

There will be individual tournaments in each country, and the winners will meet in a “Clash of Nations” competition in early 2020.

In Germany, there will first be an online qualification where four out of 128 teams can buy a ticket to the offline final. This will be held at the Gamescom in Cologne at the end of August. A total of 10,000 euros in prize money can be won there.

There are also online qualifiers for Austria and Switzerland; the offline tournaments of the top four each will be held at the Zurich Game Show in mid-September and at the GameCity in Vienna in October.

The respective winners will then fight for the title of GSA Champion and prize money of 30,000 Euros at Dreamhack Leipzig in January 2020.
