The organisation G2 Esports announces the repositioning of its CS:GO team for the start of DreamHack Malmö 2019.
Since 2016, G2 Esports has been a purely French-speaking team. With the new members, Nemanja “huNter-” Kovac and Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic the internal communication has to be in English from now on.
The Bosnian Nermanja “huNter-” Kovac has been playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in online tournaments since 2015 and is known for its flexible and supportive game. His new teammate from Serbia – “nexa” – started in 2013 with CS:GO and refined his shooting and IGL skills by participating in online tournaments.
Hopes and Goals
Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez, CEO of G2 Esports, comments on the management change with clear words. He wants to show the world that once again, you can be number one as an international line-up. Through this realignment, G2 is trying to achieve its competitive goals and expectations.
“huNter-” himself knew early on that he wanted to play in a great team like G2 Esports. He does not promise the G2-Army to win every event but always wants to give 110% inside and outside the game.
At the DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019, the new team celebrates its debut. A total prize pool of 250,000 US dollars will be played out here. G2 Esports has already won the first game of the group phase (1st to 3rd October 2019). The playoffs will take place from 4th to 6th October.
