Several teams start with strong changes in the 5th week of the European League of Legends League LEC. Misfits Gaming sends the main team to the substitute bench and lets the junior team compete. Fnatic also gives new talent a chance.
Misfits Gaming will face a tough opponent on Friday with Splyce. While the team currently has to settle for a ninth-place and only two wins from eight games, Splyce is on schedule: With six wins and only two defeats, the team is comfortably in 3rd place of the table. Only G2 Esports and Fnatic are currently better.
Fnatic is also looking for a change: The leader of the standings sends Martin “Rekkles” Larsson (22) to the bench and replaces Felix “MagiFelix” Boström (19). However, this is not a direct change of position, because while Rekkles is Botlaner, MagiFelix plays on the position of Midlaner.
Fnatics regular Midlaner Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek (19) will at least temporarily change to Botlaner’s position, as Luka “Perkz” Perkovic (20) has done before at G2 Esports. Rekkles returns to the team for Saturday’s match against SK Gaming.
