Another exciting day in the LCK is over. This had a particularly strong influence on the top of the standings. What exactly happened there today.
DamWon Gaming secures the lead
DamWon had to prove himself against Griffin and clearly won the match 2-0. After this victory over one of the consistently strongest teams of the year, they now share the lead of the LCK table with Sandbox Gaming. Both were able to win eight matches and lost three matches in eleven matches.
If you look at the next games of the two clubs, you can see that DamWon Gaming has the supposedly easier draw, because for them the direct encounter with Sandbox is on the agenda and then they face Jin Air Greenwings, the so far victorious last of the LCK. Sandbox, on the other hand, will have to beat Hanwah Life eSport before their direct encounter with DamWon, but they shouldn’t pose too much of a threat after finishing second last in the LCK.
Gen.G takes important victory against King-Zone DragonX
After a mixed first game, in which they had to admit defeat against King Zone DragonX, they were able to win a comeback in one of the most important games of the split. With a strong performance from the Midlaner and ADCs, coupled with a Baron, you were able to take the second game and gain enough confidence to make the comeback perfect in the third game.
This victory was extremely important for Gen.G, because they can catch up to King Zone and even draw. Both teams are in third place with eight wins and four losses. So there is a lot of excitement for the rest of the LCK season.
