Yesterday, Sunday, as every weekend, the popular Sunday Majors were at 888poker on the tournament schedule. At the Mega Deep the Austrian “CPU0r” had a win and $19.350 prize money.
One of the highlights at yesterday’s Sunday Grind at 888poker was the $215 Mega Deep, and with 330 buy-ins and 116 re-entries, there was a small overlay, and the guaranteed $100,000 was played out. After a little more than 10 hours, it came in the heads-up between “CPU0r” from Austria, and the Russian “Villeroi” to the decisive hand and the victory went to the Austrian for a proud $19,350. As runner-up “Villeroi” still received $14,500.
The most expensive event last night, the $530 Rake or Break Whale, was $25,000. Should this sum not be reached, as is the case with rake or break tournaments on 888poker, all participants will get their rake back. With 29 entries and only nine re-entries, it was $19,000 at the end, and all players get their paid rake back. 888poker Pro Dominik Nitsche also bought into the High Roller tournament, but unfortunately had to say goodbye before the paid seats. DeuceofDuc0″ secured the victory for $7,600 before “prebzzz” as Runner-Up for $5,130.
At the remaining Sunday Grind tournaments on 888poker yesterday the victory at the Sunday Challenge went to “todocage” for $5,783.50, “igorsgt2023” from Brazil grabbed the Monsoon for $2,289.79, and “kozirok_bel” won the Sunday Deepstack Monsoon for $2,461.79.
