E-Sports: G2 eSport reaches final

The eSports-Team G2 eSport reaches the final of the Mid-Season Invitational in Vietnam and Taiwan. There it meets North America’s champion.

Europe’s best League-of-Legends team G2 eSport is in the final of the Mid-Season Invitational in Vietnam and Taiwan.

The team of the German headcoach Fabian “Grabbz” Lohmann defeated the South Korean champion SK Telecom T1 with superstar Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok on Saturday and meets North American champion Team Liquid on Sunday.

The Mid-Season Invitational is a kind of mini world championship where the champions of all big leagues duel. It is regarded as the first important test of the world’s best teams after the spring and before the summer season. The highlight of the season is the Autumn World Championship in Europe, the final of which will take place in Paris.
