Global Poker Awards – Joey Ingram leads the list of nominees!

The Global Poker Awards will be presented on March 6th at PokerGo Studios in Las Vegas. There are 25 trophies to be won, and the nominees represent an international mix of 12 nations. Among them are 16 former winners.

With four nominations, content producer Joey Ingram is the hottest contender for at least one trophy. His relentless dedication to solving the Mike Postle case from the Stones Live Cash Games earned him the nomination in the category “Media Content: Video”. He is also nominated in the categories “Podcast of the Year”, “Journalist of the Year” and the audience award “Poker Personality of the Year”, for which you can vote here.

With three nominations, Lance Bradley is once again represented. He will compete in the categories “Journalist of the Year”, “Media Content: Written” and together with Donnie Peters for the “Podcast of the Year”.

Hossein Ensan is the only German to be nominated for his outstanding performance at the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event, which he won. He will compete in the Final Table Performance of the Year category and will face off against Alex Foxen (WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic), Phillip Hui (WSOP Poker Players Championship) and Bryn Kenney (Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro).

Especially exciting is the category “Players Choice for Toughest Opponent”. Here the GPI Top 100 was allowed to vote for the most feared player at the table. Among the top four are Michael Addamo (AUS), Kahle Burns (AUS), Stephen Chidwick (UK), and Ali Imsirovic (BIH).

In addition to the player award, there are also two audience awards. Both the “Poker Personality of the Year” and the “Hand of the Year” are open for general voting.
