After the second semi-final, is before the final. Next Sunday, the two strongest teams in the world will meet.
For all those who couldn’t see the second semi-final and don’t feel well informed yet, we have summarized everything important in this article.
G2 eSports simply too strong for SKT T1
It was one of the best matches in the history of League of Legends. The record world champion meets the winner of this year’s MSI. A game, which everyone wished for as a final, thrilled several hundred thousand people in front of their screens. In almost each of the four games, everything looked good for the top Korean team. They played clean, made few mistakes and controlled the map very dominant.
Hardly any objective went to G2 eSports. It was the small mistakes that broke SKT T1’s neck. This used G2 eSports ice cold and sent SKT T1 home three to one. Now it’s time for the guys from Europe to go to Paris and show why they are the strongest team in the world at the moment.
The Phoenix is waiting in Paris
FunPlus Phoenix managed to make it into the finals in these Worlds as an “underdog”. Of course, you can’t call the winner of the LPL “Underdog”, but you have to admit that almost nobody expected to see FunPlus Phoenix in the final. Rather one would have counted on SKT T1, Invictus Gaming or Griffin. But this fact can be seen as an advantage for FunPlus Phoenix.
G2 eSports still has enough time to prepare and is probably the only team that doesn’t have to prepare specifically, but FunPlus Phoenix can’t be rated as good as SKT T1. One can only hope that the title will find its way back to Europe. We will keep you up to date and hope for an exciting final of the Worlds 2019.
