King’s Resort Rozvadov was in a state of emergency this weekend. They went on record hunt at the €200+€30 German Poker Masters Main Event. Already on Saturday with 5.860 Entries the guarantee sum of €1.103.500 was loosely cracked, and there was still the Turbo Flight 1m on Sunday morning.
Sunday against 10:00 am then the starting signal fell to the day 1m and also here the trend stopped. Impressive 1,101 Entries still came together, and thus a new record mark for a Pokerturnier on the European mainland was set up. With 6,961 Entries one could exceed the old record of 6,368 (Czech Poker Masters April 2019 in the King’s) clearly.
Still to mention is that with the German Poker Masters the Buy-in with €200+€30 was twice as high as with the Czech Poker Masters (€100+€15). The prize pool was announced with an incredible €1,322,590 (including ten €10,350 WSOP Europe Main Event tickets), and the champion will receive €170,250 plus a €10,350 WSOPE ticket in the final on Monday.
Day 1m was played as Turbo Flight with 30.000 starting stack and 15 minutes level. 111 players qualified for day 2 and could already look forward to the min-cash of €400.
Around 5:10 pm (start was postponed by 40 minutes) 679 card cracks (54 players had qualified twice and already received the Min Cash of €400) started on day 2.
It was a long day. Only deep into the night were the best 66 players allowed to bag their chips for the final. Italian Luigi Bossio secured the chip lead for the final with 9,505,000 (79 big blinds). As the best DACH player, the German Nils Sifrin, ranked 7th, entered the final day with 5,555,000 (46.5 big blinds). A total of 15 Germans and four Austrians are still in the race for the title.
On Monday at 2 pm the final starts at level 29 with blinds 60.000/120.000 (Big Blind Ante). The level times are 40 minutes. The average is 3,164,091 (26.5 big blinds). All finalists already have prize money of €1,400.
