Messe Wien wins Coca-Cola as partner

The soft drink giant sponsors the gaming and eSports format Vienna Challengers Arena.
The gaming and eSports format Vienna Challengers Arena (VCA) at Messe Wien is one of the most important – if not the most important – eSports formats in Austria. Now Coca-Cola could be won as a big partner. The soft drink giant is presenting the monthly Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) tournament with immediate effect, which will have its second stop next Saturday, 27th July, at the Renaissance Hotel Vienna and will now trade under the name “Coca-Cola Breakpoint Ultimate”.
Coca-Cola has also already promised a more than attractive winning pot for the final at the VCA. As if that weren’t enough, an exciting FIFA20 Cup will also be held on the big stage thanks to the sponsorship. For Verena Mather of Coca-Cola GmbH, the commitment is the result of a focused strategy in a perfect environment: “In cooperation with the VCA Vienna Challengers Arena, we can act close to the target group, promote talent and electronic sport and thus do the important basic work in the community”.
Reed Messe Category Manager Florian Schermann comments on the new partnership as follows: “It’s precisely such committed partners from the business world who are needed. Now there will be a lot of noise in the scene”. (as)
