Splyce clearly defeats Schalke

In the semi-finals, Schalke 04 and Splyce met. Although Schalke 04 was the favourite in the match, Splyce was not afraid and called the performance from the split. After three games the match was over, and Splyce won very clearly. It was the last chance for the royal blues to solve the ticket for the Worlds.

By winning the semi-final, Splyce was not only in the final against FNATIC but also fixed in the Worlds. In the final, the wheat separated from the chaff and FNATIC showed that they want the 2nd seed, which brings them directly to the main event of the Worlds.

Splyce had to admit defeat with three to zero. The disappointment was limited, as the defeat meant that Splyce was now playing in the play-in phase of the Worlds 2019.

Next stop, Worlds 2019

Worlds 2019 will take place in Europe this year. Berlin, Madrid and Paris will be the cities where the best teams in the world will play for the title.

G2 eSports, FNATIC and Splyce are starting for Europe and have a good chance of making it far. Especially G2 eSports is one of the favourites to win the Worlds. But there are also other strong teams like Team Liquid, DamWon Gaming and Invictus Gaming, the reigning world champions. We are looking forward to the Worlds 2019.
