Yesterday the first decision was made at the Poker Masters 2019 and as reported Isaac Baron grabbed the first title for a proud $223,100.
For the Pot-Limit Omaha fans yesterday day 1 was offered at the $10,000 event in the PokerGO studio, and it bought 62 players.
After 17 levels played, Ryan Laplante was the leader with 2,540,000 chips, followed by Thai Ha with 1,730,000 chips and last year’s Poker Masters Purple Jacket winner Ali Imsirovic with 1,595,000 chips.
Thai Ha seems to continue the WSOPE run at King’s Resort at the Poker Masters. At King’s, he had 6 cash to his credit, including a runner-up run at €25,500 No-Limit Short Deck Hold’em for a proud €457,964. At the Masters, he finished a respectable 8th in the first event for $38,800, and at Event#2, he’s already secured $37,200 in prize money.
Also, the runner-up of Event#1 Chance Kornuth returns to the final table today, he is one of the short stacks with 545.000 chips, but everything is still possible.
The tournament continues today at Level 18 with blinds of 15,000/30,000 and 30,000 Big Blind Ante. As mentioned before, each of the remaining 6 players has prize money of $37,200 for sure, and the winner will receive $186,000.
