Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos has leaked that his Blancos extension is not his fault, but the fault of the club.
“I have a contract with Real where there are still a year and a half left. If those in charge want to settle it, it’ll be done in five minutes,” said the Spanish international in an interview with Onda Cero.
The 33-year-old’s current working paper runs until 2024, the last time it was reported that negotiations for a contract extension until 2022 are already underway.
Sergio Ramos joined the royals from FC Sevilla in 2005. Since Ramos arrival, the central defender has played more than 600 games for the club and celebrated more than 20 titles. Last summer, however, there were rumours that Ramos had asked for permission to move to China.
