The Colts with Philip Rivers only know how to win by suffering. With a 21-point deficit in the second quarter. The offensive woke up, and they managed to turn the score around to beat a Joe Burrow who looked perfect on the grid.
The first quarter only had one owner. Burrow found Bernard and Mixon, besides making a personal move to overtake Cincinnati with 21 points by taking advantage of the bad start. At the Indianapolis perimeter that the rookie quarterback overtook them with two deep passes.
But Rivers was able to revive his team and in the second quarter. After a long offensive series. Burton managed a one-yard carry to break the zero. The runner would become the quarterback’s favourite, who would score another 10-yard touchdown to bring the team 24-14.
Colts’ defence would also do its job by only allowing one field goal in that quarter. And still, give Rivers time to close the gap to three points. Rivers would find Pascal who would go 17 yards leaving the score 24-21 at halftime.
With motivation at its peak, Colts would once again respond with a dream catch by Jack Doyle, who would throw in the diagonals to catch Rivers’ pass, turning the board 27-28.
Although Rivers would suffer an interception, he would lead his team into another series to have Blankenship close out the win 27-31 with a 40-yard field goal.
