The Italian Poker Open (IPO) has always been a cornerstone of PokerStars live events in recent years. With the elimination of the Campeone stop, there have been some changes to the other tour stops this year. So also for the tournament week in San Marino. Qualifiers for the live event in the small state will continue to take place on PokerStars, host on-site is PKlive360. Since August 28th, tickets have been in the air and will traditionally remain so until the end of the four-day IPO on Monday, September 2nd.
Four Startflights in the Main Event
The Main Event comprises four starting days, including a turboflight on Saturday noon. Day 2 will be played from 9 pm on Saturday, day 3 from 2 pm on Sunday, and the grand finale on Monday at 2 pm. There will also be a livestream from the final table. The buy-in for the event is €540+60, the starting stack is 40,000 chips, and the blind levels are 45 minutes long on the start days (turbo flight 25 minutes), 60 minutes on day 2 and 3 and even 75 minutes on the final day.
IPO Master as another highlight
The IPO Master will take place parallel to days 2 to 4 of the IPO. With a slightly lower buy-in (€450+50) and 40-minute blinds, there will certainly be large overlaps in the starting field. The start is on Saturday at 10 pm, the Late Registration is still open on the second day (Sunday, 3 pm).
Satellites and side events round off tournament week
Satellites for both the Main Event and the Master are available from €80+20. Two side events, the two-day €170+30 IPO 3030 (Blinds + Starting Stack) and the €170+30 Hold’em 6 Max, round off the festival, for which there is a €600,000 guarantee.
San Marino is worth a visit
Whoever spontaneously wants to go south again at the end of summer and holidays will certainly make a great decision with a stop in the fifth smallest state in the world. Anyone who wants to climb up to poker titanium near Adrian at the foot of Monte Titano will have the spontaneous opportunity to do so today on day 1C of the Main Event or tomorrow from 1 pm on Turbo Day 1D. The Late Registration is open every day for 12 levels.
