Vancouver Titans and San Francisco Shock have reached the final of the Overwatch League 2019.
Both teams went into the race for the championship title as championship leaders and thus as favourites. San Francisco, however, had not made their way to the final easy.
Already at the start of the playoffs, Atlanta Reign relegated the team to the lower bracket. However, San Francisco Shock was not deterred by the early setback.
On the way to the final, Team London sent Spitfire, Los Angeles Gladiators, Hangzhou Spark and New York Excelsior home. San Francisco did not lose a single card on their way through the Lower Bracket.
“I am so happy! The final was our biggest goal this season,” said Jay “sinatraa” Won (19) after winning the Lower Bracket Final against New York Excelsior.
Seoul Dynasty and London Spitfire finished the season in shared seventh place. Atlanta Reign and Los Angeles Gladiators finished fifth in the split. Third place goes to New York Excelsior, just ahead of Hangzhou Spark.
