What is King Crab?

The name ‘King Crab’ is derived from the reference to the number 3 and king card. Sets of threes of a hand are frequently referred to as ‘crabs’, as any given number of threes can appear like crab pincers when seen sideways.

King Crab Explained

King Crab is the arrangement of two pocket cards which are managed as the start-up cards in Texas Hold Em Poker. The name refers to the creature, the King Crab, just as the association with the three cards being referred to as crabs due to them appearing as the three pincers on the side of a crab. A player might get these cards from the dealer towards the start or during the game, and their value can depend on whatever remains of the player’s holding.
