French Roulette Review

French Roulette is both spectacular and at the same time the most famous of all roulette forms. It is one of the oldest table betting games, and there are many theories regarding its origins. These include everything from entertaining soldiers’ part of the Roman Empire to a game enjoyed in Ancient China.

What makes French Roulette even more popular is the fact that any number of players can partake, and that everyone uses the chips that have the same values. The croupier plays a major role and is in charge of announcing the start of the game. The dealer also announces the winning number and pays the winnings. The difference between French and American Roulette is that the manqué, passe, odd, even, red and black are displayed on one side. In French Roulette, the table displays it on both sides.

French Roulette Betting Options

The wheel compartments in French Roulette is numbered 0 up to 36 and where the ball comes to a standstill is the winning number. The betting options include inside bets, which allows you to place bets on 18 numbers. It pays 1:1, and you can choose odd’s or even’s, black or red and fault or pass.

Outside bets cover several numbers via a single chip. Options include street bets, split bets, line bets, square or corner bets, columns and dozens. Straight up bets on a single number offer the highest payout of 35:1. A split bet that covers two numbers, adjacent either vertically or horizontally, pays out at 17:1.

Wheel bets involve covering the maximum selection of numbers with the lowest possible number of chips. In neighbours, you could use nine chips to cover up to 17 numbers. And with orphan bets, you can cover eight numbers with five chips.

French Roulette is easy to learn. The longer you participate and learn more about the best betting options, the higher is your chances of winning. With the low house edge, the game offers excellent payouts, which makes it one of the most loved versions of roulette. Knowing the layout, the probabilities and odds mean you have the best chance possible of winning it. It is the perfect game for players who enjoy low stakes or high stakes play. The wheel simply never stops when you enjoy online French Roulette at one of our premier online casinos.
