What Are Cold Hands ?

During the game of poker or sometimes in blackjack, a run of hands that are bad is what is most often called ‘Cold Hands’. In the description of the final hand showdown in a game, by the players, the term ‘cold hands’ can be used. To hold onto the five cards used at the beginning of the game could also refer to a ‘cold hand’. A game form involving no draws, as well as the entering of the final showdown by the players using the already drawn five cards is what a ‘cold hand’ refers to in Poker.

Cold Hands Explained
