Wilson (undisclosed) was placed on the one-game injured list.

Wilson's injury could be more severe than originally expected as he may miss more than just one contest. In the meantime, Marquay McDaniel and Bakari Grant figure to be the Stampeders' top two options at slotback.

Wilson caught just three passes Friday but turned them into 118 yards and two touchdowns in an overtime win over the Lions.

He's only got seven catches for 115 yards all season including Friday's explosion, so this could well end up being Wilson's most productive game all season. That said, the second-year receiver may have earned himself a larger role in the offense going forward, although the Stampeders' depth chart is already crowded with Marquay McDaniel, Bakari Grant and Anthony Parker all competing for targets.

Wilson is listed as a starter for this week's matchup versus the Blue Bombers.

Wilson will get an opportunity to showcase his talents this week thanks to teammate Joe West's ankle injury. Although he has not appeared in any games for Calgary this year, the 25-year-old slotback has proven his ability to produce at this level. In six games during the 2015 campaign, Wilson tallied 20 receptions for 191 yards and a touchdown. West has led the team in receptions through the first three games of the season, so Wilson could snag some vacant opportunities.
